Soccer Academy wins Beacon College tournament

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy won the Beacon College tournament which was held at the Mpumalanga capital of Mbombela on Friday 26 April.

The tournament was hosted by Beacon College and it was for the under-17 players.

Participating teams were Beacon College, Bela Bela High School, Curio High School and Kings High School.

In the semi- finals, Beacon won 6-5 on penalties after they drew 2-2 with Curio High School and Bela Bela High School won 6-0 against Kings High School.

In the final Bela-Bela High School won 1-0 against Beacon College to lift the trophy.

Arron Molekwa from Bela-Bela High School was voted player of the tournament.
