Easter soccer tournament washed out by cloudburst and hailstorms

The Easter Weekend Soccer tournament finals held on Sunday 21 April at Bela-Bela High Stadium were washed out by a cloudburst and hailstorms.

The tournament was graced by, among others, Orlando Pirate FC veteran Cisco Maphokga, and former mayor Henrietta Ledwaba.

The final match between Raeleng Masters FC and Mandela Masters FC could not be staged because of the sudden violent downpour.

The other teams taking part in the Easter Weekend tournament were Letlhabile Masters FC and Leseding Masters FC.

The first game saw Letlhabile won 3 -2 over Raeleng Masters FC and Mandela FC won 4-2 against Leseding Masters FC.

The Easter Weekend tournament organiser, Tshepo Phoffu, said he was happy about the support from residents.
