Tlotlanang Mogotlane remembered by colleagues

The Waterberg District Executive Mayor, Morris Mataboge, joined scores of other leaders in extending condolences to the family of Tlotlanang Mogotlane.

The former executive mayor was buried in Lephalale last Saturday 9 March.

Mogotlane passed on after a long illness.

Mataboge said her passing was a loss to both her comrades in the ANC and the broader community.

Head of Communications in the Waterberg District Municipality, Pat Malete, said he worked with Mogotlane from 2011 to 2016.

Former councillor and member of the Waterberg Mayoral Committee, Sipho Mhlanga, said to him Mogotlane was a mentor and leader of a special kind.

At the time of her passing, the deceased was a member of the ANC Provincial Executive Committee (PEC), and has held several leadership positions within the ANC and the Women’s League.
