Mookgophong Gospel comedian Hendrick Morerwa, popularly known as Multi B, has been nominated for Africa’s Best Gospel Comedian in the 2019 Africa Gospel Awards Festival (AGAFEST).
This follows the announcement made recently, when the nominees were unveiled during a ceremony in the Ghana capital of Accra.
The 2019 AGAFEST will be held under the theme “Africa under one God” in March this year.
According to the organisers of the awards, the nominations were drawn from best performances and songs released by gospel artists, from January 2017 to November 2018.
Multi B said the nomination was a reminder that he is no longer representing only the Waterberg and Limpopo, but also the entire South African comedy circuit.
“I feel so great and honoured to be nominated. This also made me realise that no one should ever be discouraged by their poor background or lack of finances,” he said.
He said the right people will come your way to help you reach your goals whenever you show potential.
“The support from locals has always been massive. I am still pleading with everyone in the province and South Africa as a whole to vote so I can bring this award home,” he said.
To vote for Multi B, locals can go to web.speakupp.com or download the SpeakUpp app on play store and vote on either one of these platforms.
Multi B is the reigning Independent National Gospel Music Awards (Ingoma) Best Gospel Comedian, and was also nominated for the same award in the Crown Gospel Awards last year.
