Learners get assistance

A total of 63 learners were assisted with their paperwork ahead of the academic year.

Scores of learners from various backgrounds gathered at the Bela-Bela Community Hall to access assistance in terms of applying for registration and financial assistance, among others.

Thus far the #100KindsToVarsity initiative has unveiled that a total of 63 candidates were assisted and awaited responses and other correspondence from various institutions.

The last five of the assisted candidates were at the community hall on the last day of registration, Friday 11 January.

Among these learners, most of them applied for registration at various institutions of higher learning, while others applied for financial assistance at the National Student Financial Aid
Scheme (NSFSAS) and elsewhere.
