The Craft Revolution Beer Festival is coming to the Vaal for a one-day showcase and tasting extravaganza on 26 April 2014. It is the latest offering to launch from the Taste Festival South Africa stable.
There will be two weekly winners every week for four weeks. Weekly competitions close at midnight on Saturday 22 and 29 March 2014, and Saturday 5 and 12 April 2014. To enter the competition, see The Citizen on Thursday 20 March 2014, Monday 24 and 31 March 2014, and Monday 7 April 2014.
The show focuses on the Craft liquor industry throughout South Africa with emphasis on showcasing the talent of brewers, distillers and producers of quality Craft Liquor, and bringing them together under one umbrella. We will also be introducing gourmet street food to pair with the beer on offer. The festival also includes activities and entertainment for the kids, live entertainment, and of course incredible taste sensations.
Entrance tickets are R50 per person and available through www.itickets.co.za. All food and drink purchases on site will be done using the festival currency called ‘Castros’. Each Castro is worth R5 and can be purchased at the event in denominations of R100 booklets. For more information, visit www.thecraftrevolution.co.za.
