This is a SOJO Business and Tourism initiative to bring large scale events to the South of Joburg.
Thaba Eco-Challenge is a mountain bike and run or walk charity event hosted by SOJO Business and Tourism, at Thaba Trails, powered by Balwin Properties & Group 1 Nissan The Glen.
The event is scheduled to take place on March 27.
This is a SOJO Business and Tourism initiative to bring large scale events to the South of Joburg.
SOJO supports local charities and we will be hosting a charity drive on the day for five local charities namely, Dignity Dreams, Fountain of Inspiration, Cansa, Stepping Stones Hospice and Outreach Care.
Activities and entry fees
• R300 per person for 12km mountain bike route at Thaba Trails
• R100 per adult and R50 for children under 12 for the 5km run/walk
• Entry for the public is free.
Loads of entertainment await you at the Foods of the World Village and Beer Garden, a vintage and power car display, the new Nissan Navara Display and much more.
Registration will open at 08:00 and the race, which is managed by STRAVA, will take place from 09:00 and 15:00.
Great prizes from UVEX Sports South Africa, Del Forno Lemon Tree and more are up for grabs.
Every person who goes through the finish line will receive a medal.
