Joburg Beauty Pageant is collaborating with various modelling agencies and are hosting auditions for six regions of Joburg.
Programme director Gidion Mfincane said the auditions started on January 25 and will continue until February 26 at 69 Turf Club Street Aretas Bar and restaurant in Turffontein.
“We have the following categories: Jnr Miss Teen Joburg, Miss Teen Joburg and Miss Joburg. We are looking for contestants between the ages of 13 and 35 years. We are accepting contestants from the whole Johannesburg South (Region F),” said Mfincane.
The pageant aims to make sure women gain confidence in leading and influencing others.
“Contestants are from humble beginnings, so we call upon businesses to support contestants and the event. Joburg Beauty Pageant provides a unique opportunity to be great leaders.
“Our system focuses on self-awareness, leadership presence and building relationships for impact. “We allow aspiring female leaders to become more self-aware, connect more authentically with others and manage relationships successfully across a broad spectrum.”
