MOJAK Lehoko returns to the stage with his latest show, The First Time, a venture into the world of storytelling taking place at the Market Theatre from November 7 to 9.
After debuting at The Pop Art Theatre with special guests such as Kagiso Lediga, Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, Lindy Johnson, Loyiso Madinga and numerous other talents, the show returns with another great ensemble over the three nights, including Nicholas Goliath (7th), Tats Nkonzo (8th), Nina Hastie (8th), Tracey-Lee Oliver (8th), Robbie Collins (9th) and Lihle Msimang (9th).
The First Time is a storytelling experience where a group of entertainers jump onto the stage and peel back the layers of close encounters while they shed light on the uncertainty, vulnerability and the thrills of first-time experiences with raw and stirring anecdotes.
From the nerves at attempting stand up; the tumultuous nature of finding your first love or even the sheer embarrassment of being a first-time traveller, The First Time is a night filled with laughs, honesty and the odd bit of discomfort.
The show starts at 8.15pm and tickets from R90 are available through Webtickets online. The show carries a PG-13 age restriction. Parking is available at Newtown Mall at R10/hour.
