All adult pre-purchased online tickets are automatically entered into the "Win a new Suzuki Swift" competition.

THIS past Easter weekend, the iconic event the Rand Show in Nasrec opened to huge crowds, a demonstration of its place in the heart of generations of South Africans.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Rand Show, one of this country’s oldest and well-loved events on the entertainment calendar. It is a slice of South African heritage at its very best.

To celebrate 125 years, a host of new exciting and trending entertainment offerings have been added to the old favourites to keep young, old and everyone in between entertained.

In celebration of this anniversary and to ensure loyal supporters get a chance to attend, the organisers have set the weekday price for tickets at R40 for children under 17 and R80 for adults.

In addition, all adult pre-purchased online tickets are automatically entered into the “Win a new Suzuki Swift” competition. The winner will be drawn and announced on April 29.

This week, the show runs from 12 noon to 7pm daily and just by attending, visitors get a full day’s entertainment for the whole family plus many chances to win prizes valued at over R1.2-million at the 2019 expo.
