24 THIS is one car show bringing you everything you love about cars and motorcycles with high end vehicles, street and hot rods and a touch of the classics – make sure you make your way to Hoërskool Dinamika on Saturday, November 24. The day is hosted by the Brackendowns police reservists to raise much-needed funds to equip them to effectively protect and serve the community. The day also offers a children’s play area with jumping castles and a variety of games as well as food and drink stalls. There is also a raffle and tickets will be sold at the gate. SA MILITARY History Society, Johannesburg branch, will meet again on December 13 at the Auditorium of the Museum of Military History, Erlswold Way, Saxonwold (next to the Zoo) at 8pm. This will be a DVD evening to be followed by a year-end function. DVD Title: “Deterrence from the deep, the US Navy Ohio class ballistic missile submarines” – running time 42 minutes.
