WATERSTONE College was a buzz as families came together to spend a day with their loved ones at the school’s festival on September 1.
The Marimba band from the college opened the day with sweet melodies that kept guests on their feet and excited. The main aim of the event was to make sure families had fun together.
This event, now in its third year, kicked off at 11am and kept visitors entertained with live performances as well as a battle of DJs and solo performances by Chiovan Marais and Christella Sikiotis and lots more till about 10pm.
The event also showcased arts and craft from local artists.
Shandene Hinkley, marketing manager at the school told COURIER that this event is staged to connect families around the south.
“People enjoyed themselves and we as Waterstone College are proud of what we managed to pull off. Events of this magnitude will be hosted in the near future,” Shandene added.
