IF you are looking for a fabulous, well-priced but really classy treat, come and enjoy a wine river cruise where your R200 Vaal River Wine Expo ticket gives you a branded glass, tastings of over 200 wines and a complimentary 30-minute wine tasting cruise aboard a luxury cruiser.
The event begins at midday on June 23 until 5pm, but the gates will close at 4pm. The ticket price also includes a wonderful wine and art meander between Stonehaven on Vaal and Riverside Sun, both of which are on the banks of the Vaal River in Vanderbijlpark, just 45-minutes from Jo’burg.
There will also be lots of side entertainment too, including live music, jazz and a really interesting arts and craft exhibition, with some of the artists practising their artistic skills while you watch. Enjoy well-priced food from stalls on the prestigious banks of the Vaal River, both at Stonehaven on Vaal and Riverside Sun.
The entrance is only at Stonehaven on Vaal and you will be able to enjoy all there is to swirl, sip and enjoy at Stonehaven and then walk along the banks of the Vaal River along the pleasant riverbank walkway between Stonehaven and Riverside Sun, where there will be live lazy jazz playing at Riverside Sun, while you get to taste great South African wines and view other stalls of interest too. Riverside Sun will also have food of interest for you to enjoy. There is a special complimentary park and ride that Jaguar and Land Rover is offering all visitors. They will be based next to Riverside Sun (at Emfuleni Park where there is additional parking) and they are offering a complimentary luxury shuttle between where you park your car and Stonehaven. It is a great way to experience one of these exclusive cars!
