Five Fingers for Marseilles (16 LV)

Local stars Vuyo Dabula, Hamilton Dhlamini, Zethu Dlomo, Kenneth Nkosi and Jerry Mofokeng star in this acclaimed Western – a drama proclaiming that “there are no good men”. Twenty years ago, the young “Five Fingers” fought for the rural town of Marseilles, against brutal police oppression. Now, after fleeing in disgrace, freedom-fighter-turned-outlaw Tau returns to Marseilles, seeking a peaceful pastoral life. When he finds the town under a new threat, he reluctantly fights to free it. Can he free himself from his past? Will the Five Fingers stand again?

This dramatic new horror-thriller stars acclaimed actress Emily Blunt. A family lives an isolated existence in utter silence, for fear of an unknown threat that follows and attacks at any sound. If they hear you, they hunt you.

Midnight Sun (PG)

Seventeen-year-old Katie Price (Bell Thorne) is sheltered at home since childhood with a rare genetic condition, a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. Having only her father Jack as company, Katie’s world opens up after dark when she ventures outside to play her guitar. One night, her dreams come true when she’s noticed and asked out by her longtime crush, Charlie (Patrick Schwarzenegger), whom she’s secretly watched from her bedroom window for years. As they embark on nightly summer excursions, Katie’s risk from sunlight grows and she’s presented with the gut-wrenching dilemma of whether she can live a normal life with her newfound soul mate.
