Winners of Mall of the South competition

Two lucky local residents, Wouter Dempsey and Julian Govender are the proud winners of the magical getaways.

MALL of the South gave shoppers a reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day by entering the Adventurous Wonders of Love competition with Lara Travel International.

From January 29 to February 18, shoppers had to spend R250 or more at any Mall of the South store to stand a chance of winning one of two weekend getaways to Vrisch Gewagt Boutique Olive Farm valued at R38 000.

Two lucky local residents, Wouter Dempsey and Julian Govender, are the proud winners of the magical getaways.

They will both experience one of South Africa’s true beauties along the Garden Route, namely Vrisch Gewagt Boutique Olive Farm where they will enjoy a variety of activities including a tour about olive oil, a picnic on the floating deck on the farm dam, hiking, fishing, a river walk, feeding the lambs and milking Wendy the cow.

Wouter Dempsey was utterly flabbergasted when he was informed that he had won a three-night stay for two at Vrisch Gewagt Boutique Olive Farm, valued at R15 000. Dempsey said, “Thank you for the lovely surprise and for this awesome prize.”

The prize includes a one-bedroomed self-catering luxury cottage, return tickets to George Airport for two adults with a three-day car rental, a bottle of red wine, a 500ml bottle of extra virgin olive oil produced on the farm, two jars of olives made on the farm and free Wi-Fi.

EXCITED: Therisa Mileham (on behalf of Wouter Dempsey) Lara Casasola (Lara Travel) and Julian Govender.

Julian Govender was in disbelief and overly excited when he was notified that he had won an awesome three-night getaway for four at Vrisch Gewagt Boutique Olive Farm, valued at R23 000. Govender said, “I won a prize on my 21st birthday. Thank you so much; you have made my day!”
