This week sees the release of new highly anticipated movies at Nu Metro The Glen.
Nu Metro concludes Women’s Month on a high note with Charlize Theron as well as a special ladies only pre-release screening at Nu Metro The Glen.
Atomic Blonde (16LV)
Oscar winner Charlize Theron stars in Atomic Blonde, a breakneck action-thriller that follows MI6’s most lethal assassin through a ticking time bomb of a city simmering with revolution and double-crossing hives of traitors. The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is equal parts spy craft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. Sent alone to Berlin to deliver a priceless dossier out of the destabilized city, she partners with embedded station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) to navigate her way through the deadliest game of spies. Atomic Blonde is the latest movie release in Nu Metro’s Xtreme cinema at The Glen featuring one of the biggest cinema screens in Johannesburg. Nu Metro’s special ladies only pre-release movie event, Girls Night Out, returns to Nu Metro The Glen on August 31 (event starts at 7pm). Not only will Fun Mom Dinner be screened a day earlier exclusively for an all female audience, but Girls Night Out includes all sorts of other goodies to treat our moms and daughters with a night to remember.
Fun Mom Dinner
Four moms, whose only common ground is their kids’ preschool class, decide to get together for a harmless fun mom dinner. The night starts off terribly, but the combination of alcohol, karaoke and a cute bartender leads to an unforgettable night where these seemingly different women realise they have a lot more in common than motherhood and men. Fun Mom Dinner stars Katie Aselton, Toni Collette, Bridget Everett, Molly Shannon, Adam Scott and pop superstar Adam Levine.
