THE latest new animated masterpiece from Disney-PIXAR, along with a raucous night out for the ladies, are the two new movies starting to show at Nu Metro the Glen this week. The new movie has been showing from Thursday, June 15 – ahead of the Youth Day long weekend.
Cars 3 (PG)
Disney-PIXAR animation studios are renowned for their spectacular, acclaimed work on films such as Toy Story, Finding Dory and The Incredibles. The third film in the Cars series of movies, featuring automobiles that come alive with a mind of their own, is no exception. Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win – plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage! Cars 3 will be showing in 3D at Nu Metro the Glen – an animated action-adventure for the whole family to enjoy on the big screen.

Rough Night (16 DLS)
The hangover will be the least of their problems. Five best friends (Scarlett Johansson, Jillian Bell, Zoë Kravitz, Ilana Glazer, Kate McKinnon) reunite 10 years after college for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes an hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to figure out what to do next, their night takes some hilariously unexpected turns, bringing them closer together when it matters most. This laugh-out-loud comedy is described by some as the female version of the popular Hangover movies, but with a few significant twists. The cast ensures that the comedy is maintained at peak levels at all times. This is one of those movies best enjoyed with your best friends, for a fun-filled night out!
