Time to dine in white again

Mzanzi, get excited for the Grand White Dinner which returns in April with Superstar Lira

DO not miss out on the opportunity to be part of South Africa’s most highly anticipated events in the annual social calendar, the Grand White Dinner which is a pop-up picnic event at a secret location, which only gets revealed on the morning of the event.

The events are a lively social gathering of people, all there for the common goal, an extraordinary afternoon and evening together with friends and family. Just imagine an alluring day turning into evening at a secret, picturesque location, stylish and gorgeous people to interact with, delicious food, your favorite bubbly as well as trendy music and entertainment by some of South Africa’s top acts and musicians. One of which is SA’s undisputed queen of song, Lira.

Stephan Dau, Founder of The Grand White SA, said: “We are so excited for The Grand 2017, which is going to be even bigger and better than before! With over 8 000 guests attending in 2014, 13 000 guests in 2015 and 15 000 guests in 2016 we are truly grateful for the fantastic support and cannot wait to see what this year holds.”

All guests are asked to come in white, with a touch of green for colour. The color theme has significant meaning in that the white represents peace and unity and the green signifies care for the environment. The Grand White Dinner aims to help unite South Africans through this auspicious occasion, as well as raise awareness of environmental care, partnering with the likes of Green Pop and Impact.

Guests are welcome to either bring their own picnic baskets or purchase at the event. Strictly over 18’s allowed and the event will take place on April 1. Doors open from 14:00 to 22:00 and the main ceremony will take place at 16:00

The venue will be revealed the morning of the event at 09:00.
