Metro Music Awards nominations party
The Metro FM music awards will once again lured the entertainment and media industries to KZN for the awarding event.
SCORES of musicians, media and the people in the music and entertainment industry gathered in Bryanston, for the much anticipated Metro FM music awards on Tuesday, January 17.
The South African Broadcasting Corporation’s biggest commercial radio station announced the finalists for the 16th Annual Metro Music Awards, that will take place in Kwa-Zulu Natal in association with eThekwini Municipality.
Metro FM hosted an electrifying show and party to show all the musicians, media houses and sponsors that this upcoming installment of the Metros at the Inkosi Luthuli Convention Centre, will set Durban on fire – when entertainment from all four corners of the South Africa lands in KZN’s premier city on Saturday, February 25.
Voting lines via the official USSD line *120*1512#, have officially been opened to the public and will close at 23:59 on Sunday, February 12. Voting for song of the year will close on the night of the awards, at a time communicated during the main event. USSD rates will be charged at R1.50 per minute.
Winners in respective categories will be walking away with R100 000 prize money per category.
