8 and 9: The 55th Walkerville Agricultural Show will be held and all proceeds from the show go towards local NGOs or for the upgrade and improvement of the Walkerville Community Centre and the showgrounds. Mondays:

*CHOIR members are urgently needed for a multi-denominational choir called ‘Under His Wings’, under the leadership of Claude Weeder. The choir practises every Monday from 19:30 to 21:00, at the Brackendowns Baptist Church, in Kariba Street, Brackendowns. No previous experience is necessary, but simply a love for singing and a wish to pass on the gospel message. *QUIZ Nights SA will be hosting quiz nights every Thursday from 19:00 at the Kraal at Thaba Eco Hotel. The average quiz is about two hours and can be played in teams of four to six players. Thaba also presents the Kraal quiz promotion, where you buy any meal for R100 and get a free drink.

*THE SA Military History Society holds meetings with lectures on the second Thursday of each month, with a wide variety of topics on military historical interest discussed. Visitors are charged R30 per person, which includes tea or coffee after the lecture.
