FOLLOWING the previous very popular outings of Bridget Jones on the big screen, ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ rushes into Nu Metro The Glen from Friday, September 16 (along with other cinemas nationwide).
Aged 43, Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) is struggling with the trials of life, not the least of which is her break-up with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). Bridget found that her “happily ever after” hadn’t quite gone according to plan.
Forty-something and single again, she decides to focus on her job as a top news producer, and surrounds herself with friends old and new. Pushing forward and working to find fulfilment in other aspects of her life seem to do wonders until her love life comes back from the dead when she meets a dashing and handsome American named Jack (Patrick Dempsey) – the suitor who is everything Darcy is not.

Bridget discovers that she is pregnant… Now, the befuddled mum-to-be, her loyal entourage of friends and eccentric co-workers, as well as her amused no-nonsense gynaecologist, must work out if the proud father is Mark or Jack.
