*SA Military History Society, Johannesburg Branch will meet again, February 11, at 20:00, at the auditorium of the Museum of Military History, Erlswold Way, Saxonwold (next to the Zoo). First event will be: “Colonel Robert Jacob Gordon – Soldier, Explorer, Linguist, Artist and Naturalist” by Jan-Willem Hoorweg with the main lecture “Leningrad – Abused – Besieged – Survived. The siege of Leningrad, 14 September 1941 to 27 January 1944” by John Myburgh. Wives are welcome to come along with their husbands and enjoy the evening. Visitors are charged R30 per person, which includes tea or coffee after the lecture.
