ARE you ready for Andre the Hilarious Hypnotist who will be appearing at Montecasino Theatre to enthral local fans with his fast wit, dry humour and astounding ability to turn even the most innocent of us into anything from a washing machine to superman, providing the ideal way to chase away the New Year blues.

His season at the Montecasino Theatre officially kicks off on Friday, January 22, running for a limited season until Sunday, February 14.

There are also four preview performances taking place this weekend, Friday, January 15, Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17, “to get the New Year going and to get into the swing of things ahead of next week’s opening”.

For the past 21 years Andre held his audience spellbound with his ability to get members of the public to do various strange weird and incredibly entertaining actions on stage. His previous shows at Monte Casino have been sell-out successes.

Andre is renowned for presenting unforgettable, highly-interactive performances that leave his audiences flitting between fits of laughter and gasping in absolute amazement as ordinary volunteers drop deep into a hypnotic trance and lose all inhibitions with just a click of his fingers.

His shows are suited for young and old, and with no two volunteers being the same you can never really claim that you have seen his show before. You can expect a different reaction every time a new volunteer takes to the stage and even Andre admits that he is never too sure what will happen in his next performance.

The show will take place on Fridays at 20:00, Saturdays at 16:00 and 20:00 and Sundays at 15:00. Tickets are R140 and can be booked through Computicket.
