It’s a girl thing at Nu Metro The Glen
Nu Metro at The Glen Shopping Centre is re-introducing Girls’ Night Out once a month on a Thursday at the “new” look movies.
EASTCLIFFE – As well as being able to watch a new movie prior to being released, there will be snacks, cocktails (Dynamic Event Planners) and prizes; as well as goodie bags for each “girl” attending.
The CHRONICLE was invited to the fun evening on Thursday September 17, when the movie showing was The Intern with Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. “Fabulous movie, fabulous evening and a great way to catch up with your girlfriends,” said Julie Maule (news editor of Comaro Chronicle).

Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) is a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, run by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). The Intern is showing at The Glen until October 8.
