BRACKENHURST: Guest speaker, Dr Nicolette Houreld, from the Faculty of Health Sciences The Laser Research Centre, wowed members of Women of Worth (WOW) at their November meeting.
Nicolette graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2007 and completed her two year post-doctoral study at the Laser Research Centre, University of Johannesburg in March 2009. She has lectured on various undergraduate courses and currently assists and supervises students in the Laser Research Centre.
Members of WOW found Nicolette’s talk intriguing, as she explained various forms of laser treatment which can be used for different cosmetic and medical ailments.
After the talk members enjoyed refreshments and a chance to ask Nicolette questions about laser treatments.
