Mondeor High School had a sports sizzler to celebrate its 50th anniversary on July 20.
Learners had a fun-filled day, especially on the field, where they played soccer, basketball, hockey, netball, and tennis and performed cheerleading, to name a few. There was also chess, a spelling bee and poetry.
Principal Heather Chapman said the learners were divided into their respective inter-houses to participate on the day.
“It is all about a fun day and for the learners to enjoy themselves,” she said.
