André promises to do better next year in cross-country

He said his team worked hard to be where they are now.

André Jansen (68) from La Rochelle came fourth in the category 65 to 69 years old in the 2023 ASA Cross Country Championships which was held in Gqeberha on September 16.

He said although the wind was strong, they managed to pull through to the finishing line. His time was 27:27:59.

“We worked hard with my team to prepare for this championship. I want to thank them. They are Senele Ramaisa (65), Nthusang Moses Motshabi (68) and Alan Smith (68).

“Thank you to our sponsor, Kwin, who made sure we participated in the championship. Big ups to Central Gauteng Athletics. I will work hard for the next year’s one to improve,” he said.
