Karate training back to normal sessions

The Cobras Shotokan Karate Club from Alberton is back to their usual training sessions.

All the karateka are pushing hard to once again achieve their exceptionally high standards of karate.

“The year 2020 has been a tough year for all of us, but with strict health and safety protocols in place, the club has returned to its new normal, and all the students love it,” said sensei Luarent Gaston-Bellegarde.

In late October, the head instructors, Laurent and sensei Nicholas Gaston-Bellegarde hosted a six-hour training session to help bring all students back up to standard and make up for lost time during the hard lockdown earlier in the year.

The training session was a great success and all students thoroughly enjoyed it.

With the karate training back up to standard, the students are keeping fit, healthy, disciplined and above all are happy to be back to training, even though the training conditions are somewhat different to normal.
