JKA Bassonia undefeated champions
JKA South Bassonia seniors did not disappoint, winning both unison kata and team kumite yet again, making them the undefeated champions for the fourth year running.
The Karate Syndicate Team Events Champs were held recently with outside dojos being invited to participate for the first time.
JKA South Bassonia seniors did not disappoint, winning both unison kata and team kumite yet again, making them the undefeated champions for the fourth year running.
The dojo was also invited to participate at the Heidelberg Champs winning gold and silver for unison kata and bronze for team kumite.
Several individual medals were also won including silver for open men’s kumite (Graeme Bennett), double gold for open ladies kata and kumite (Brittany Shepstone) as well as gold for veteran ladies kumite and silver for veteran ladies kata (Karyn Smith).
Classes are held Monday to Thursday with special classes for Dinky Warriors, ages four to seven.
