FNB Joburg 10K Cityrun to take place on September 24

THE City of Joburg will celebrate National Heritage Day among thousands of runners and walkers at the fourth annual FNB Joburg 10K Cityrun on September 24.
The run will start and finish at FNB stadium.
“We are proud to have the City of Joburg as a partner of the FNB Joburg 10K Cityrun,” said Dezroy Poole, director Stillwater Sports. “Starting in front of FNB Bank City, the FNB Joburg 10K Cityrun celebrates the City Of Gold’s rich heritage.
“Runners (and walkers) will be treated to a 10km journey that will highlight iconic landmarks and feature lively performances by a host of Joburg’s leading performing arts groups.
“Hosting a mass participation road run in the city centre is a massive undertaking. The City of Joburg assists in alleviating pressure by granting the event access to an abundance of services, including logistics, venues, safety and security, to name just a few,” said Dezroy.
