Jackie Gibson marathon in South
74th Jackie Gibson Marathon and the 7th Allan Ferguson half marathon on Sunday.
THE 74th Jackie Gibson Marathon and the 7th Allan Ferguson half-marathon will take place on March 31.
Both will start and finish at the Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre.
The marathon will start early in the morning.
A 10km event will take place after the start of the two big races.
Johannesburg Harriers athletic club will once again organise the event.
Marshals will take care of the athletes during the course of the marathon.
Residents and the public should take note of the road closures on Sunday in and around the South and Kibler Park.
For those who will not be running, entertainment and food stalls will be available at the centre.
