Rock Raceway to hist high octane racing

Petrolheads are in for a treat with high octane racing.

PETROLHEADS are in for a treat with high octane racing which will take place at the renowned Rock Raceway circuit in Brakpan. All the favourite oval drivers will hotfoot around the 400m circuit in various disciplines on October 13 as they start to wrap up the season’s championships in the semi-final round.

A host of Oval Saloons classes will also be racing, including the 1 600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, 2L Hotrods and Super Saloons. Open wheelers will include the Ninja karts, ages six to 12 years, 125 karts and the return of crowd favourites, the V8 Sprints cars.

Adrenalin high-speed action from the Formula N Circuit cars will keep you riveted to your seats as the saloon car drivers jostle for positions around the tricky race circuit. With plenty of chicanes and tight corners passing each other can be hair rising at the best of times but very entertaining for the crowds none the less. So come to support your favourite driver and vehicle manufacturer.

Gates open at 10am, racing starts at 4pm.

Entry fee for is adults R80 and children R30 (six to 12 years old)

Embankment parking at R40 per vehicle.

Sufficient food and refreshments will be on sale at the circuit so you won’t go hungry or thirsty.
