Shell Helix Ultra Cup tickets on sale now

THE tickets for the inaugural Shell Helix Ultra Cup are already on sale.

Tickets can be purchased from Computicket stores or at any outlets such as Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper, House and Home, selected OK Furniture stores and at Usave. Spectators are urged to purchase their match and parking tickets together, to avoid traffic congestion on match day. Tickets will not be sold at the FNB Stadium on match day and unticketed members of the public are warned not to come to the stadium precinct.

Stadium Management South Africa’s Jacques Grobbelaar warned, “The Shell Helix Ultra Cup’s planning is in progress and spectators are urged to educate themselves regarding ticketing for both the match and parking. Spectators are the most important role-players in an event of this magnitude because they ultimately assist us by following the processes and laws we put in place. We use this strict ticketing system with help from our partner at all events, Computicket, to eliminate criminal activities in and around the stadium precinct. All tickets now have new security features that cannot be cloned or copied. We’ve had great success and have reduced the number of criminal activities on match days because illegal tickets can easily be identified and confiscated.”

The historic match between local side Kaizer Chiefs and the Premier Soccer League titleholders, Mamelodi Sundowns, will be played on July 21 at the FNB stadium.

The match will start at 3pm and the gates will open at 11am.

Supporters who wish to attend the event are requested to arrive early and to use public transport to avoid gridlocked traffic on the day.
