VISAREND Angling Club held an angling competition at Biermans (Vaal Dam) on February 10 and 11.
Here are the results:
Mini Winner: Damien Schlebusch with 13 fish weighing in at 3.92kg and Hennie Bezuidenhoud second.
Veterans Winner: André Herbst with 58 fish weighing 20.824kg with Bennie Bezuidenhoud second and Clive Brook third.
Ladies Winner: Karen Nel with 71 fish weighing 21.706kg, Madelein Cordier second and Joanne Cheek third.
Senior Winner: Jurrie Nel with 64 fish at 30.52kg with David Do O’ Faustino second and Johan Clark third.
Heaviest fish: Ruan Janse Van Rensburg with a barbel weighing in at 16.208kg.
Heaviest bag: Ruan JV Rensburg with a total of 30.748kg.
Most Fish: Karen Nel with 71 fish.
Overall Winner: Jurrie Nel.
