ONE of the top bodybuilding competitions was held in June, where Jessica Lovett, from the South, managed to make her mark on this international event.
The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) competition was held in Cartagena, Spain, on June 17, where four South Africans showed their finesse in their respective categories.
The 24-year-old Lovett competed in the Fitness Bikini category and walked away with full laurels. She took overall position, snatching up the trophy in front of the 10 competitors in her category.
She trains daily at Viva gymnasium at Comaro Crossing and will be competing in her next events in the latter part of the year.
