Alberton kickboxer second best at SA Champs
Suné represented the Eastern Gauteng team at these championships held in Durban on the weekend of April 27.
A STUDENT from Alberton Chinese Kickboxing has received a silver medal at the South African Kickboxing Championships held recently.
Suné Steenkamp was chosen last year too, and brought home a bronze medal; so if the trend continues, next year may be gold.
The competition is run every year, with Durban and Gauteng taking turns to host the event.
Steenkamp represented the Eastern Gauteng team at these championships held in Durban on the weekend of April 27.
“Only quality fighters are chosen and the competition is hard,” says Sarah O’Donnell, Suné’s coach.
“We would also like to thank Allegiance Properties (JHB South) for sponsoring us to be able to make the trip again,” adds O’Donnell.
