THE Visarend Angling Club’s April results are as follows:
Mini winner: Etienne Smit with 14 fish at 5.720 kilograms, second Jodean Bezhuidenhout and third Hennie Bezhuidenhout.
Junior winner: Evan Ogden with 10 fish at 7.390kg, second Izaan Smit and third Tiaan van Rensburg.
Veteran winner: André Herbst with 46 fish at 22.644kg, second Bennie Bezhuidenhout and third Jan du Preez.
Ladies winner: Madelein Cordier with 63 fish at 24.366kg, second Marie Coetzer and third Natasha Smith.
Senior winner: Jurrie Nel with 46 fish at 38.198kg, second Freek Bezhuidenhout (52 fish at 22.150kg) and third Attie Pretorius.
Heaviest bag: Jurrie Nel with a catch of 38.198kg;
Overall winner: Madelein Cordier;
The next competition will take place on May 13 and 14 at Draaifontein. Visitors are welcome.
