FIFA 2016 Club World Cup – ‘David-Goliath story’

Pitso Mosimane hoping for ‘David-Goliath story’ against Real Madrid.

WITH less than a month to go, Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is excited ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, in Japan, which will be broadcast live and exclusively on StarSat, from December 8 to 18.

“It’s like you are going to a new class as a student and you are excited to see what’s going to happen in that class; what you are going to learn,” he said.

”It’s in that space for us and we have nothing to lose, but experience to gain, and we have to enjoy ourselves. No pressure, but we have to give our best.”

Sundowns will face the winner of the match between the Japanese League champions and Auckland City, from New Zealand, in their first game on December 11. The Japanese League is yet to be decided.

Coach Pitso Mosimane added that he is well aware of Australian and New Zealand football.

“It’s like playing American football, it’s direct, it’s straightforward, they don’t have tricks and they know how to finish,” he explained.

”They have the right technique, they have the right attitude and you know how they are with sports science and physics.”

Catch a Bafana Ba-style attempt to become world champions, at the FIFA Club World Cup, live and exclusive, on StarSat, from December 8 to 18.
