Golf day for Lusito

Over 100 golfers joined at Reading Country Club in Alberton, for a midday shotgun tee-off and played a competition format of Individual Stableford. Golfers each received a Puma shirt cap at registration.

LUSITO School held its Golf Day on Thursday, November 17 – and once again it proved to be a great success and an enjoyable day.

Over 100 golfers joined at Reading Country Club in Alberton, for a midday shotgun tee-off and played a competition format of Individual Stableford. Golfers each received a Puma shirt cap at registration.

The halfway house was sponsored by Belem Bakery and the golfers enjoyed chicken and beef prego’s. Alternative beverages also provided the golfers, with some refreshments on the 5th Tee as well as New Winds on the 14th Tee.

The Individual Stableford winners for the Lusito Golf Day 2016 were: First – Helder Alves (48 points); second – Herman Crous snr (40 points); third – Rob da Mota (39 points); fourth – Brett Littlefield (38 points); fifth – Trevor Tyler (38 points) and sixth – Carl Gonsalves (38 points). Nearest to the pin: Jono Routley at the fifth hole and Brett Littlefield at the 11th hole.
