Albertonians raise funds for charity with Golf Day

The E-fund Educational Charity, aimed at helping underprivileged kids to get a decent education, is launching off with a Golf Day.

The E-fund Educational Charity, which aims to help underprivileged children to obtain a decent education, is being launched with a Golf Day.

The event will take place at Glendower Golf Club, 20 Marais Road, Edenvale, Johannesburg, on Friday, October 28.

An opportunity to play a round of golf, be spoilt with luxurious gifts, and enjoy fine dining and excellent entertainment, as hilarious local comedians go for an uproariously funny ”hole in one”.

Acts include Nqobo Ngcobo (Comedy Central, Parkers Comedy Shoot Out winner, two-times MC of the Year) and Shirley Kirchmann (from Alberton), who has returned to SA after a North American Fringe Theatre Festival Comedy Tour.

Have all this fun while you contribute to the worthwhile E-fund charity launch.

E-fund was started by Alberton resident and lawyer Ashley Youngman, a partner at law firm Gittins, Youngman and Associates, supporters of this special charity event.

Ashley believes education benefits not only the deserving learner, but their broader community, too.

Ashley, through E-fund and without any external financial support, is already educating two (soon to be three) exceptional learners.

Kim Doulgeris writes: “Good day E-fund, thank you for choosing my son, Kian Chad Doulgeris for the bursary. This fund has been nothing but a blessing to myself and son in our time of need.”

To make donations, or to book your four-ball for R3 000 or a hole sponsorship for R2 500, contact Sarah Procter at Gittins, Youngman and Associates on 011 867 0513, or by e-mail at: sarah@youngmanlaw.co.za, or ashley@youngmanlaw.co.za www.gyattorneys.co.za.
