Waterstone College played in the final against Laerskool Monument Park beating them by 45 runs

THE Waterstone College u.13 cricket boys returned as champions of the Thaba Morula Cricket Week that took place during the school holidays.

Waterstone College played in the final against Laerskool Monument Park beating them by 45 runs.

Best batsman of the week:

Keegan Krchnavy with 144 runs, at an average of 36,5, and it included a highest score of 65.

Best bowler of the week:

Christopher Thom who took 15 wickets, at an average of 2,9 runs per wicket. Best figures of four overs, two runs, four wickets.

Man of the match awards during the tournament went to:

Keegan Sofianos, Christopher Thom, Cameron de Bruyn and Trent Parker.

The school thanks Lisa Nunes from Pam Golding Aspen for making the boys and coaches look the part.
