QUINTIN d’Hotman de Villiers, a Grade seven learner from Suideroord North, participated in the South African Gymnastics Games which was held from October 4 to 10 in Centurion.
He participated in the men’s level five artistic gymnastics eleven to twelve age groups and competed against 30 other gymnasts. He was awarded a second place for rings, third for high bar, fifth on pommel and sixth on parallel bars, placing him in the overall sixth position.
Quintin has been selected to compete at the Zone 6 Nationals in Pretoria in December where he will represent South Africa against gymnasts from Namibia, Angola, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
His family is very proud of him and wish him everything of the very best.
