MIRINDA Malajika (14) won the 48kg boxing division at the South African Schoolboy Championship held in Pretoria from October 7 to 10.
Mirinda has also been tapped for the 2016 national team.
He is the younger of five Malajika brothers who are also successful boxers. His brother Ricardo Malajika, is the current three times SA Champion and his other brothers Louie and Dino Malajika are the Johannesburg Boxing Organisation champions and Gauteng champions.
Mirinda trains with Bully Hurford at the South Hills Club, situated at the South Rand Recreation Centre.
