KFC Mini-Cricket kids get active

KFC Mini-Cricket kicked off the action packed series with a cricket day for the youngsters.

KFC Mini-Cricket got off to a flying start with the first Gauteng cricket festival on Saturday, September 12.

The festival was held at St Davids School in Johannesburg and saw more than 200 KFC Mini-Cricket players take part in a jam-packed day of cricket action.

Steven Cook and Pumelela Matshikwe from the bizhub Highveld Lions were some of the provincial players at the festival. KFC encourages children to live active lifestyles through the KFC Mini-Cricket series.

The fastest players to complete the bowling, batting and fielding course at the festival won the opportunity to be ball boys and girls in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge.
