Holistic wellness: Metropolitan partners with marathons

Metropolitan has identified three races which the Mojo Series has partnered with.

METROPOLITAN has partnered with major marathons in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the Western Cape to provide financial and physical wellness services to the community.

The  was launched on Thursday, September 10, and will offer runners, supporters and the local community advice and support at the 20th annual Diepkloof Rave Half Marathon on October 25.

“We identified that there is a gap between financial and physical wellness, where some people do not view wellness in its holistic form. Through the Metropolitan Mojo Series, we would like to close that gap, and enhance the lifetime financial and physical wellness of people, their families and communities,” said Llewellyn Allen, the brand head for Metropolitan.

“Through this series we want to engage and celebrate those things that make our communities, whether family, township, suburb or city, great. The empowerment will come about through our input into amplifying the community’s activities and in the communities, personnel will be at hand to further educate communities on financial wellness.”

The Metropolitan Mojo Series partnered with races and marathons that resonate with the communities where Metropolitan operates.

In partnership with the races, Metropolitan will also run a Tekkie Run where runners will be encouraged to donate new or used tekkies which will in turn be donated to young aspiring runners in the local communities.
