After two years Kaizer Chiefs have fulfilled their dream to once again wear the ABSA Premier Soccer League (PSL) crown.

They dispersed their opposition, defeating them, Polokwane City 4-1 in a PSL match on Wednesday April 22 at the FNB Stadium and in front of an elated crowd.

Amakhosi reclaimed the ABSA Premiership trophy, and it will be handed to them at the last league match of the season on May 9 in Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) CEO, Brand de Villiers, has congratulated newly crowned 2014/15 ABSA Premiership champions Kaizer Chiefs. The victory took Kaizer Chiefs to 63 points in the ABSA Premiership log – meaning that there is no other club that can mathematically catch them this season.

De Villiers said: “We would like to congratulate 2014/15 ABSA Premiership champions Kaizer Chiefs for a sterling performance this season. We would like to congratulate the club chairman Mr Kaizer Motaung, club management, coach Stuart Baxter, the players and the club supporters, following their success in the ABSA Premiership. Kaizer Chiefs have earned this achievement after leading the ABSA Premiership long-standings from day one of the 2014/15 campaign.”
