Former Bafana goalkeeper partnering with club in South

MONDEOR Meteors Football Club had a lot to be thankful for when former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Andre Arendse paid a visit to their club.
The club would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to Arendse, Brand Ambassador for Kappa and former Bafana Goalkeeper, for partnering with Mondeor Meteors FC to uplift community football in the South.
Arendse has been generous with his time, coming down to the club and training their goalkeepers on a Wednesday evening. His enthusiasm, professionalism and caring nature have made him popular with the players, who are mostly too young to have witnessed his career. They all know exactly who he is now.
As a community football club, all administration is managed by parents at the club. At the club all have a wonderful time and try to let the children have the best training.
Arendse jumped at the opportunity to contribute and make a difference when a parent made contact with him.
