Two clubs from the South, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, will be in action in the Nedbank Cup's last 16

TWO clubs from the South, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, will be in action in the Nedbank Cup’s last 16 over the weekend.

On Saturday March 21 Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Black Leopards at the FNB Stadium in the South. The match will kick off at 17:30.

In what has been billed as the ‘pick of the round of 16’ fixture, SuperSport United will play Orlando Pirates on Saturday night at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. The kick-off is at 20:15.

However the Nedbank Cup’s last 16 will have a University Derby to kick off.

The two clubs that have their roots in institutions of higher learning, Bidvest Wits and University of Pretoria will kick off the last 16 stages of the 2014/15 Nedbank Cup on Tuesday March 17.

It was confirmed by the Premier Soccer League that the opening fixture of the last 16 will kick off at 19:30 at the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg.

This will be followed by a match between Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic at Athlone Stadium on Friday March 20. The kick-off is at 20:00.

On Humans Rights Day, Saturday March 21, there will be four fixtures. At 15:00, Black Aces will host Jomo Cosmos at the Mbombela Stadium, and Maluti FET College will travel to Cape Town to face fellow National First Division side, Milano United at the Philippi Stadium.

On Sunday March 22, Golden Arrows will be at home against Natal United, while Platinum Stars will play Mamelodi Sundowns at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium. Both fixtures will kick off at 15:00.
