Go Pink and support a good cause

‘Go Pink!” is this year’s logo and the cricket fraternity is invited to show their support and dress in pink.

The cricket fraternity will once again Go Pink when they step into Bidvest Wanderers, showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Momentum One-Day international between Castle Lager Proteas and the West Indies will take place on Sunday December 18 at Bidvest Wanderers, and once again this match has been set aside for support in the PinkDrive.

‘Go Pink!” is this year’s logo and the cricket fraternity is invited to show their support not only to dress in pink, but to open their hearts to support a good cause.

This initiative and fundraising drive supports PinkDrive, an organisation committed to improving breast cancer education and awareness and providing preventative screening services to women across South Africa.

To show their support the Castle Lager Proteas will once again be playing in an all-pink kit for this specific ‘pimp themselves pink’.

Bidvest will donate R1 000 each time the ball touches the boundary. Momentum will donate R100 000 each time a player hits the red inflatable “M” to PinkDrive. The company will also donate R1 000 every time the ball hits the perimeter boards and R10 000 for every six hit into the Momentum family area.

Tickets are on sale at the ticket office at Bidvest Wanderers.
