Southern Giant gives extra flair this year

Kia Motors The Glen Dealer Principal, Ralf Schaffernicht will be sponsoring the Southern Giant, Paul Kamanga, Anton Gillmore, Adrian Meyer from Kia Motors The Glen.

KIA Motors Southern Giant boxing tournament will have extra flair to it when up and coming rising star of the South Paul Kamanga takes on legend of Southern boxing Kaizer Mabuza.
The Southern Giant will take place on Saturday November 22 at Southern Klipriversberg Recreation Centre in Kibler Park.
Boxing will start at 18:00.
Kamanga is the pride of the professionals at Box Office and is trained by Anton Gillmore. They will be facing the likes of Mabuza, former title holder, and Manny Fernandes from BRD Boxing Academy. Kamanga will be defending his WBA All Africa junior welterweight title against Mabuza, who will have his chance once again at a title, as he lost to Zolani Morlai in East London. This main bout will take place over 12 rounds.
The incredible nature of this fight is that Kamanga made name as an amateur on the Giant, fighting for the first time against Adam Ling, and now he will defend his title as a professional. He has 13 wins under his belt and will not like to forfeit his title against Mabuza, who is the experienced of the two boxers.
The fight between David Rajuli, who has been calling out Morne Bothma for a long time, is going to happen at the Giant. The bout over six rounds will have the Southern support for Rajuli on their feet. Bothma record reads five wins, one loss and one draw, while Rajuli’s record is four wins, two losses and one I draw.
The little dynamite from the Box Office stable is Rofhiwe Maemu, who fought Kamanga, Alan Bouer and Adam de Moor, whom he stopped in the first round. He now faces Lehlonolo Ledwaba’s boxer Bongani Nkosi. Tumelo Pedi is a featherweight who shines with Alan Toweel, who smartly builds his boxers and is up against Paul Manxilana from the Fernandes stable.
Brandon Bocking from Habib’s Gym takes on Willers Baloyi over four rounds in the junior welterweight. He fights under the keen eye of Grant Habib. Willers is from Gillmore’s camp.
Vhonani Netshidamboni is taking on Patrick Mukala from Ashley Fourie pro stable.
Luvho Ntembi makes his debut from Box Office and opens the tournament against Frans Mokoena from Klip Town in the lightweight division.
While the professionals will slaughter it out at the Giant, the amateurs will also be in action.
